Hi, sorry i haven't written in a long time

Well to start things off.......WUZZZZZZZAAAAAAAA!!!!!

I've had an awesome summer. My scores came in on the FCAT and I passed with flying colors. So....time for middle school. With my favorite thing to do....VIDEO GAMES I have Kingdom Hearts 2 BEATEN!!! I then bought a disc that loads cheats into KH2. I've borrowed Need For Speed: Most Wanted from my friend Reynaldo.

I now spend time helping my dad on a very hard game on the XBOX 360, three words....Farcry Instincts: Predator. It's a two game in one expansion including the first and second one. I'm playing with my friend Reynaldo a lot cause we play HALO 2 on the 360 and, as always, the score ends 130 (Yours Truly) to 90 (Reynaldo). With music I'm now listining to the HALO 2 Soundtrack.

For movies, I've seen Superman Returns (Jawdropper) and Pirates Of The Caribean: Dead Man's Chest. These are THE best movies I've ever seen! I recomend getting off your chair and going to the theater right now while it isn't full!

For the net, you should go see newgrounds. It has internet game and flash cartoons, just look for the profile of Halomastah at newgrounds to find me. Here's the URL www.newgrounds.com.

That's all for today. I hope you have an awesome summer.

School Speech, Topic: My State

Modern Woodmen of America have a speech on a certain topic every year at school for fifth grade and up. This year's topic is: My State.

When it was announced, we had three weeks to make a speech that was between 3 minutes and 5 minutes long. We start off a presentation in class, where the class chooses one winner. After that, twelve kids go to the preliminary competition, where 7 out of the 12 are chosen for the next round.

It turns out I was chosen for the class, and was also one of the top 7. After that, I had to practice for one week, at least for half of the school day, in the cafeteria, on the stage.

The finals began today. I hoped I'd draw the last number, but instead I was first. :( That sucked and made me even more nervous. Well, after all my practice for a week, I had to go immediately after the introductions. Mom told me that when she had to give a speech, she always got nervous befor the speech, but lost it and was calm during the speech, but would get nervous again after she got off. Well, the same happened to me! Like mother like son, I guess. :)

After hearing the six other contestants, which by the way were all girls (I was the only boy who made the finals), they announced the judges would go to another room to make their decision, and would take a while. Ms. Drum, Head Librarian and also of CNN (Camelot News Network, which by the way I'm also in) she found a way to entertain us while the decision was being made. She asked for a bunch of people to raise their hand, and then gave them a piece of paper with a word on it. She asked them for a one minute speech on the topic written on the paper. The overall funniest one was the topic "teacher". The kid came up and said "Ok my topic is teacher... not much to say about them. I had a teacher once in New York, it was one of those lunch lady/teacher/whatever, and whenever I would whisper in my friends ear, she would come up and say 'You think he likes you whispering in his ear?! '... and there are tons of other different teachers like math teachers, and social studies teachers... oh, and fun teachers. That's all." I think he's going to be a comedian one day.

Well, after that, the decision was made. I was hoping that I got a plaque, and they announced third place to me! Second place was Kellie Greene, and first place was Paige Lyle! Sadly, only first and second place get to move on to the next round. :( But the good thing is I won't have to compete against middle schoolers, but a sad thing too because I wanted to. So, good luck girls!

With Paige's speech, it was so good, when I looked at mom, it looked like her jaw fell through the floor, and ended up in China. She was that good.

I didn't make it as far as I hoped, but I am surprised that I made it this far, and I'm happy.

The Nintendo Revolution's Weird-Looking Controller

I was watching G4 "TV For Gamers", when I saw a review on the brand-new-coming-soon Nintendo Revolution.

This time Shigeru Nyomoto, the maker of Nintendo, has made a strange-looking, high-tech controller. The contoller looks like a TV remote! You can buy a plug with an analog stick remote to go with the controller, though.

What's cool about it is that it detects motion! So, if your playing a fishing game for example, you could act like you're fishing and it'll copy your movement in the game. Which means any person could play and have them interested, how cool is that!? I don't know about you, but I wanna try that out. It might be 200 on the tag though.

See ya!

Otronicon at the OSC

For people that missed it or don't know anything about it, every year from now on (we hope!) at the Orlando Science Center, a group of people take over a large amount of the center for a video game convention.

This year they brought simulators, new Game Cube games like Shrek Superslam, and all new PS2 games like Gran Trismo 4. They now have XBOX 360 with Call of Duty 2 and Project Gotham Racing 3. Of course, there's the XBOX with Batman Begins, King Kong, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Ultimate Spider-Man, and of course the awesome Halo 2.

Speaking of Halo 2, they took over the 8-story cinedome and made a Halo 2 Competition! They also had Dance Dance Revolution Comps. They have Classic Arcade for people who loved Galaga, Pole Position, Tron, and of course, Pac-Man.

The Convention was over yesterday, but they'll come next year, so spread the word. My mom hopes to be volunteering because she had so much fun! Oh, make sure that you have money because for adults it's $14.95 for one day, for kids 12 and under $9.95, and $49.95 for the ten day pass for both kids and adults, and kids 3 and under go free.

So remember, spread the word and get ready for the Video Gaming Revolution in 2007. See ya!

Mission: Space, My Adventure to Mars

First I'm sorry for not writing in a while. Now, onward, on my Winter Break, I went to the high-tech and super-cool Epcot, at Disney World "Over 50 years of magic". I went on the awesome ride, Mission: Space, which takes you in the soon-to-come year of 2039, that's right folks, 2039. Well you are an experienced astronaut going on the first, mission to Mars. When I went on, I was amazed I still feel like I went in space. I still can't belive it. Anyway, your mission is supposed to take 3 months. So your supposed to go in "Hyper-sleep" and wake up later. I'm not gonna spoil the fun parts so I'll say one word G-Forces, that's right, G-Forces. If you don't know what it means, look it up. Hope you enjoy the ride, but, if you have motion sickness, uncomfortable with spinning, simulators, darkness, and enclosed spaces, this might not be a ride for you. Bye!! P.S. There might be a long line but the ride is extroardanary and worth going to Epcot and waiting.

Destruction

So much destruction,
pain, and agony.

So many broken lives and
hearts.

All because of a powerful
storm.

How cruel Earth can be
at times.

Nature has many ways
of destruction.

Life is limited, fragile,
and unpredictable.

To the people of New Orleans,
live strong.

I Beat Halo 2!

I just beat one of the the hardest games I've played, and that's Halo 2.

The epic story from Bungie Studios continues in this awesome sequel. If you don't know already, the story from Halo 1 is that it is the year 2350 on Earth. Earth is constintly under attack by a civilization of aliens called the Covenant. Their religious leaders, the Prophets of Truth, Mercy, and Regret, know about this sacred ring called Halo. It was originally created for destroying the Covenants other enemys called "the parasite", also known as the Flood. The Flood look like a mutated cross between a tiny octopus and a spider. They will go into any dead body and take it over, Human or Covenant, they can go into both.

But when Halo was activated a long time ago, it eliminated all life in the Universe. To prevent history from repeating itself, the military trained Spartin 117 or otherwise known as the Master Chief. Standing at 7 feet and weighing half a ton in armor he was sent to destroy another Halo. The mission was successful.

Now, in Halo 2, a Covenant commander is in council and is gonna be punished for not saving the Halo ring. He was burned, removed of his armor, and The Mark of Shame burned into his skin. The Prophets turned him into an Arbitor. You see later in a cutscene, a Capitol Ship is going into Hyperspace at the Outskirts of a deserted city. Your crew follows the ship into Hyperspace and the city is destroyed. You then find another Halo. In the end you once again stop Halo from detonating. But nine other Halos are ready for remote activation on "the Ark".

I beat the game at my grandparent's house with my uncle in Puerto Rico, so I"ve learned from the best. If you see this game and you have an XBOX, BUY IT! That's all for now on Halo.
